I wrote the currentappcontrol for netbooks completely in javascript and qml.
Please feel free to make more suggestions.

it would be very cool if you include the appmenu like in unity. show the application name and on mouse over the menu... it will look much smoother, than current netbook style.

Do you mean a menu that also appears when you do right that shows the closing,maximizing, minimizing etc.? Or what menu are you talking about? :)
