I only get a rectangle too. But after waiting for a long time the Studi-Login appears. Now after login this message appears: Ups, ein Fehler. Ups, das hat nicht geklappt. Bitte probiere es später nochmal.

it doesn't show anything for me. It's just a blank rectangle.

Make sure that you are connected to the internet when you launch the plasmoid, if you are not, remove it and add it again while you are connected. Please tell me whether it works.
