Google Hangout Emojis Complete
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
Collection of 861 emojis directly from Google Hangout.
This set contains all emoticons currently available.
Icons are property of Google Inc.
Attention: For a mysterious reason, selecting the new theme in System Settings causes changes in some emoticons, that don't work. So, to prevent this issue, after installing the theme and before enabling it go in
$HOME/.kde/share/emoticons/Google*
or
$HOME/.kde4/share/emoticons/Google*
(depending on your distro) and change attributes of emoticons.xml removing write permission.
If you miss this step and you notice strange characters on chat log, I have included a backup file of the theme file that you can use to restore defaults and adjust permissions.
How to upgrade: before each upgrade you have to temporary restore write attribute to emoticons.xml then install the new theme and then removing again write permissions. Last changelog:

No matter what I try, there's always over 100 incorrect emoji: http://imgur.com/a/1NTGH I've tried extracting the archive outside of the emoticons folder, setting the file to be read-only, and then moving it in, but it still ends up having these errors.
At least on Arch Linux, the location is ~/.local/share/emoticons
Thanks for updating these emoticons for the hangout on Google plus. I use that social media site all the time. =)
