An Icon Theme should have a valid .theme file among its files and aim to be complete for desktop use under Gnome or KDE Plasma.
If it contains only a single icon or a small set of icons, please use the Icon Sub-Sets or Single Icon/Logo categories instead.

Hello you have made a great theme, but I can not download it, I guess it is because of the time it has been on the web?
9 9 excellent
great job.
I don't know why, but they doesn't work :(
I had to untar the package, and retar it with -h (dereference symlinks) for this to work.
This theme is badass, I am not as excited about Oxygen anymore, I hope it'll expand though. And can you add an icon for the KMenu? Right now I believe it inherits the system's standard icon (in my case a yellow star, I use Mandriva) but it's a pain in the ass to change it; it's much easier to change it from the theme folder.
To change the kmenu icon, you lonly need to change the name of icon in "apps" folder. In Debian and Slack it's named "kmenu.png", but I don't now how it's called in Mandriva :( Look for the yellow star in that folther, choose the icon you want to use and chance its name. So tell me if works ;)
"but I don't know how it's called in Mandriva" My keyboard sucks!
Alright, I got it: In Mandriva, the KMenu icon is called menuk-mdk.png, so all I had to do was choose which icon I wanted to use (Darth Vader for now, what can I say, the Dark Side is strong), make a copy of it and rename the copy to menuk-mdk.png then reload the theme.
Yes. Just do it.
very nice theme but only 128x128 icons? why so big? are you going to release the rest sizes also?
128x128 is the real folder, the other folders are symbolic links to it. KDE works like this as well ;) Or your KDE didn´t unzip the symbolic links?
i made the symlinks my self and works fine now! this is a realy nice theme!
I would this theme minus the OSX.
These look great, but for some reason the theme will not load. I have noticed this problem with several themes, any idea why? It happens rarely, but it's annoying.
Into what folder did you put the icon theme?
I installed them using KControl, as I do all my themes. Almost all of them work too, but this is not one of them.
Inside my theme folder all the size folders from 16x16 to 64x64 are just empty documents; only 128x128 is a real folder with contents inside it.
Alright I got it now. For some reason it doesn't work through KControl. I have to extract the folder from the archive and manually place it in the icon theme directory.
Unzip the package in "/usr/share/icons", tar will create a Folder named "Alien OSX" there. 128x128 is the real folder, the other folders are symbolic links to it. KDE works like this as well ;)
ok Thanks Thanks, Mena
Hi, i installed it but do i do to change it manauly the foders partitions , etc... Thanks, Mena
Look the name of the icons. To change the icon folder, for exemple, look for the icon you want and change its name to "folder.png", the cd audio must be "cdaudio_unmount.png" Enjoy ;)
How are you able to give this set a GPL Licence, are the MAC OS icons released under the GPL?
The Mac OS I taked has GPL licence. I just compiled with the Aliens icons.
