Original for GNOME created by Saki, merged with NuoveXT and compiled for KDE by me.
Due to the many requests of a port to KDE I merged the GNOME-Iconset with NuoveXT to fit better with KDE (as NuoveXT has many similar-looking icons and more of them ).
INSTALLATION-INSTRUCTIONS:
=====================
Unpack the archiv somewhere, open a shell, navigate to the unpacked archiv and type "sh buildset" (without quotes). After a few moments another archiv named "SnowIsh-1.0.tar.bz2" (or something like this) should appear. This icon-archiv can be installed as usual with your Control Center.
The build script depends on 'convert', which is part of ImageMagick.
For those who want to know what the elements in the screenshot are:
Style: QtCurve with "inverse Gradients" ( http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=42950 )
Colorscheme: created by myself ( http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=42916 )
Windeco: modified "candido-compiz" for compiz
Icons: SnowIsh of course

Wallpaper: modified version of http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/8910489/

gosh, please someone has to port this to kde4, currently its not working at all, apart from a few icons.
I agree. The icon theme isn't working on KDE4, just a few icons are shown :(
Is it just me, or does this not work properly? http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?image=greenarrowje9.png See the green back arrow that doesn't match the blue circular look that all the other icons have?
i use it after i have installed many themes, this is simply the best, light and nice colors :)
Download link does not work. Please fix, I really want to download this!
Damn providers... It should work again now.
thanks!
is there anyone who has a working link for this as the ones here dont seem to want to work for me
I'm having trouble with my webspace provider, so it isn't downloadable at the moment. I hope to get it managed as soon as possible, so please wait.
why not torrent it?
It's working again.
Not anymore it isn't. Paid your hosting bill lately? Or did your domain expire? Or maybe you just need a better host. ;-)
Maybe the server was down for a short time, for me it's working oO.
Indeed. Thanks.
any one know how to compile the icon theme ?
Yep dear! It is easy. Give following commands: 1. tar -jxvf SnowIsh-kde-1.3_build.tar.bz2 2. cd SnowIsh-kde-1.3_build 3. ./buildset This will create a file named SnowIsh-1.3.tar.bz2. You can install this file as icon using Control Panel > Appearance & Themes > Icons > Install New Theme To run complete buildset, you will need ImageMagik. Search on google for more info on how to install it, if that is not installed.
Maybe someone will port this to KDE: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=31618
There's no need - take a look at http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=16564 :)
I agree to the previously posted - why not publish it as SVG (as well)? It's looking good though - keep up the good work :]
Again, I'm NOT THE CREATOR of these icons! I've only ported them from GNOME to KDE. They're the work of saki, who has also done the NuoveXT icon theme. Maybe I will create a SVG version, but this will be more work, because I also modified some icons...
I created a variation with all the sizes from the ones of 128x128! the password: 0800 the link: http://smashse.discovirtual.uol.com.br/disco_virtual/kde-look/SnowIsh-kde-1.3_build.tar.bz2
