and navigate to the pic you downloaded
if you are going to make your own make sure it has a 100% transparent background or the shadows will look strange
also, make sure the image is as big or bigger than your screen

yo how do i use the transparent image what is the location in the compiz manager. id like to make a few of my own thats why i ask.

isn't that a background from an iGoogle theme? i don't think Google would appreciate it being re-released under the GPL without their permission...
