Vista Glow Emerald Green
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
This is a modification of the Beryl Emerald theme "Vista_glow" which uses emerald green buttons instead of the typical red ones. This theme looks especially nice with Linux Mint or other green themes.
To Install:
1. Save the tarball to your home folder and extract it.
2. As root, move the extracted folder to "/usr/share/emerald/themes/"
3. Open up the Emerald Theme Manager and select the new theme!
Enjoy! Last changelog:

I'm a newbie and am having problems with the syntax to copy the extracted folder to "/usr/share/emerald/themes/". Would you mind giving me a hand? I've tired every variation I can think of and just keep getting the message that the directory does not exist (which I can clearly see does exist). I assume that "/home/my-user-name/" precedes the above and this is done using the sudo command before either "mv" or "cp". I'd appreciate any assist with the correct syntax for the entire command. Much appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks. I figured out the problem. In your command line above you included a "/" after "themes". This should not be there as it indicates a directory instead of a file. As a newbie I didn't pick up on it without some research.
Nope... that wasn't it. I'm still lost. The path seems to be "/usr/share/emerald/theme/" and not "/usr/share/emerald/themes/" Am I wrong? Moving the extracted folder to "theme" doesn't seem to help. Newbie in the woods... out of bread crumbs... cold and nervous... night falling...
What clock do you use? Is this cairo-clock? If yes, which theme is it?
As I mentioned above, this is Avant-Window-Navigator. I'm using 'Shotglass' theme (you can get it here: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Shotglass+for+AWN?content=70411) AWN is, by far, the best dock for Gnome!
I think they mean the clock desklet.
That's right: I meant the clock. You said this is gnome/desklets? Thanks!
I installed the gdesklets but did not find the clock theme. Can you give me some hints?
Oops. I saw clock and the "c" and "l" together looked like a "d". LOL! Sorry, this is Cairo-clock with a custom theme.
I searched gnome-look.org but did not find that particular cairo-clock theme. Can you send me a link?
It's the Cairo-Titan-Pack. I'm using the grey variant. Enjoy! :-) http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Cairo-Titan-Pack?content=43384
Hi! That dock app is Kooldock or Avant Window Navigator? Cheers.
Avant Window Navigator. Very awesome!
The original can be found here http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Aero+Emerald?content=68889
No, the original, original can be found here: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Vista+Glow?content=46860 Vista Glow is the theme I modified, not yours. I only used your colors. :-)
Why is my original screenshot in the tar then?
Because it was the closest I could find until I made my own. Look, I credited you with the colors. What else do you want? As you can see, the rest of the theme is clearly Vista Glow! if you don't want people borrowing bits and pieces of your work then don't release it GPL.
rofl. I am not mad. I was curious. wow... Short fuse.
I didn't mean to be short with you. I just had another user recently jump all over me with a nasty PM for using some minor part of his theme in a modification I did. It was released GPL!!!! I thought the whole point of open source and GPL was to add to or improve others work so the entire community benefits. No hard feelings! :-)
You are right, and I have no hard feelings either
