thx, glad to see you like it! either you open the fusion settings > global > opacity settings. then point "window opacities. tick the "new button" and type like this: "Tooltip|Menu|PopupMenu|DropdownMenu" and under Opacity window values, e.g.: "90" or open ubuntu tweak (if its installed) point Desktop > Compiz Fusion > "effects for menus" and tick "transparent menus". another easy way is over "gconf-editor", under "compiz" > general > all screens > screen0 > options. under "opacity matches" type this: "Tooltip|Menu|PopupMenu|DropdownMenu". hope this will help you.
