I know that these buttons are not made by me, now I know you've made it. i only change the colors. when i did this theme, i did it just for me. but after i think that it could be good to share it. but I didn't remember about licenses (I'm always thinking that everything is GLP)
I'm so sorry!!
If you aren't agree, I'll change the buttons, (I took the buttons from emerald themer "SolidSlatemodified")
this was my first beryl theme, but now I'm going to do my own buttons
now you can tell me what i can do...
to delete your buttons Or to include you in credits (I think this is fair because I've only edited the buttons in the GIMP)
Don' worry about it... you can just include credits for the buttons, but please take note that the buttons should be under the licensing terms for SolidSlate (Artistic 2.0) with something kinda like 'contact the original author if you wish to use... blah blah blah" I'm a fair guy and more than willing to let people make use of anything I should contribute to the community, as long as they ask for permission to mod/port, etc. :).
Besides, I cant really place the blame on you for anything... as it seems, during my recently having been AWOL, someone decided it was 'ok' to GPL my work. So I've got a lot to try to straighten out over the next little bit. :)
But anyway, permission granted, it's actually a fairly good mod, but WAYYY to blue :P
Best Regards,
DM
if you have an nvidia or ati graphics card. and you already have it correctly installed.
you just search in google for "beryl xgl" or "beryl aixgl". for information about howto installit.
it's easy. at least in ubuntu is easy.
I can't tell you where you can look for. because I'm mexican.
sorry for my bad english
now I'm inspired. this was my first theme and my first time in gnome-look. but thanks to you guys, I'm going to do more themes for to have a bigger and better catalog.
anyways, I'll update this one. but I don't know when, because now I'm working in 3 new beryl themes, and I have some ideas for another one (this one a little more personal)
Now this I like, ok, ok it may be very Vista-ish, but if you ask me it's an improvement on the Vista look, which I thought was pretty nice anyway.
The presentation of Linux is really coming on in leaps and bounds thanks to the likes of yourself and the hard-working folks in the KDE team.
I will be downloading this the second I get home.
Good work!
