Description:
Hey! Welcome to the homepage for the Vox Populi Emerald theme project. Here you can download the latest official variants of the theme as well as older versions of the theme - that is if I ever release a version past 1.5. The Vox Populi project is the matured and reworked result of my 'UbuntuFrost' themes.
Please feel free to vote the theme up or down and leave comments; I likely will not view or respond to the comments swiftly but rest assured they will be read at some point. Enjoy!
In order to get the blur effect that is shown in the example pictues you will need to enable the 'blur windows' plugin in ccsm(CompizConfigSettingsManager) and set the 'blur filter' to whichever settings you prefer or whichever settings work best on your system. I currently set my 'blur filter' to use a 'gaussian' blur and set the 'gaussian radius' to 13.
The following link is a preview pic that shows my Emerald settings. Do as you wish of course but I also recommend trying these settings to make the theme look & feel better:

Nice theme, but I think it's easier if you pack them in a zip file. Than you don't have to download them all individually!
You know, that is an extraordinarily good idea that I can't believe I didn't think of at some point. :) I think I'll do that. Thanks for the tip!
A,aaa.. one time I try to add this applet but show me some problem because have already start other, anyway I am obliged you. One more time, thank you so much!
If you still have the regular, default Gnome notification applet running in the Gnome-panel up top or wherever you keep your default panel then it will cause this issue. If you search on how to get rid of Gnome-panel altogether or even if you just get rid of the notification applet on the Gnome-panel then AWN should be able to use its replacement notification applet properly. Hope this helps, cheers!
Hey, men can you tell me how you add this: http://prikachi.com/images/449/2418449i.jpg applet to Avant Window Navigator, please it's really important (bow).!
It is the 'notification daemon' applet; just like any other applet it can be added and moved to wherever you want it. ;)
