It's incomplete, and buggy
However, I've been playing with this today and if you compare this to the previous versio you'll see it's quite radically different.. This was just how it looked at the end of the day today.. While I do intent to fix things, it was different enough that from V1 and will be different again from the next versio that I could upload what I'd done rather than lose it.
Apart from trying to make a dark grey KDE theme that I can use personally on a daily basis. I have no idea where this is going..I've changed a lot, I like the changes, will fix up the problems over the next few days and see how usable I find it..
Currently I have GTK apps set to use Oxygen Theme mostly and it's interesting to see the difference.. and does show just how good Oxygen is actually.. I know people *$@*? about the whole grey thing.. but it's a very very good theme, very complete.
This QTCurve theme won't be that complete.. I'll do my best though.
I'd be interested to know what which elements you prefer in both versions - suggestions are most welcome.Last changelog:
What's changed:
Wow.. lots, New Gradients, with different opacity and segmentaions. Pop up dialog boxes now look how they should (shaded) Adjusted scoll bars and grooves, much prefer them now, but the scroll bar and slider color is all wrong, too bright.
Removed the background stripe in views, increased the coloration of selections.
Changed Toolbar buttons to be flat and blend gradient with toolbar menu, which is also flat
View headings reworked to be clearer.
Biggies thing are buttons, completely reworkd.. The Hover over effect is horrible This will be changed as it's hideous..
Adjustable grab handles have lots omore contrast to imrpove usability and give feedback.
Tabs totally reworked, highlight and gradient and rounding redone.
Window Decorations reworked also.. You'll now seein Default QTCurve that brightly colored window decorators are now much more subtle - I like the brightness from eh previous versoin ,but do find this looks more integrated. Works very well now with several Dekorator themss as well.
Removed borders from windows and removed shadow from inactive windows.
