It's ok. There is a Gentoo ebuild already. I can not make though the upper bar look like this...
I'm not sure what upper bar you are refering to.. kwin, plasma or toolbar... maybe upload a screen shot...
If you are refering to top panel mac menu... kust add xbar plasma widget to the top panel... this is installed with bespin...
lol... that was easy... KDE is much more configurable than Gnome and there are hundreds of plasmoids...
