Soft Metal 2.6
###############
#### About this theme ####
(1) Tested only with KDE SC 4.6 and QtCurve 1.8.4. Therefore,
incompatibility may arise in older versions.
(2) Includes soft inverted gradients. Made to keep every bit of interface
intact, but still striving for a clean look. Subtle metal textures gives
depth and aesthetically pleasing eye candy. Slightly rounded corners also
adds a refined look.
(3) Makes your gtk apps look almost identical to the qt ones. Courtesy of
qtcurve.
#### Installing ####
(1) First, check if QtCurve is installed
(2) For full gtk compatibility, install gtk-kde4
(3) If you are upgrading from version 1.6 or older, be sure to remove old
files by running remove_old.sh
(4) To install, run install.sh.
(5) Now set widget style and window decoration to QtCurve. Load the Soft
Metal profile inside QtCurve and also load the color scheme.
NOTE1: For gtk apps to look alike, search "GTK Style" in System Settings
and select QtCurve as a gtk theme. (gtk-kde4 required)
TIP1: For optimal fonts, use/install ttf-liberation. 8pt for general use
and 10pt for the taskbar and window decoration should look good.
TIP2: I suggest that you match this theme with Blue Air plasma theme:

9 + This is really an elegant theme. One of my faves for sure.
It's just so good. In my opinion, this should be the default look of kde4!
This is simple the best theme I have seen on qtcurve. Thank you so much for each and every single minute you spent on making this.
Simple and brilliant, i was searching it for hours. Thanks

Great finding! It indeed works very well.
With your qtcurve theme, other bright colors like with azure colors: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Azure?content=129146 also look pretty good.
I was really bothered with 'GTK' and 'KDE' apps mismatch. Now every application seem very well integrated. thanks to qtcurve guys and to u for making this beautiful theme and for letting 'us users' know about the cool qtcurve theme!
I'm very glad you liked it!
I am really impressed with this theme :)
Thanks for the feedback! Did the installation script went well?
This is my default theme now, complemented by blue air. Keep it up. Btw: the scripts should probably state /bin/bash instead of /bin/sh, because dash is the default /bin/sh on ubuntu, and make the install fail. Easy fix though :)
Also you should try soft metal with the hycons icon set, it looks like a near perfect fit.
I have now fixed the script issue, but I will only make a new release until something else is modified. Hycons will be a good choice in the future, but right now, there are lots of missing icons... Anyway, I'm happy that you're enjoying it!
I agree the iconset wasn't that complete, so I found 'MIB Ossigeno Icons V3 Classic' which works great.
