i got an email from one of the oxygen team to take my work down until KDE4 is released, so i did.... (read the link above)
but: i made some new changes and new stuff (emerald theme) and im also working on a kdm theme etc, so its nearly finished and will have detailed instructions, but i cant provide it here until KDE4 is released...

It's usually in ~/.qt. But as I'm not the author, I may be totally wrong. just rry ;-)
You don't have permission to access /files/oxygen_kde_dark.kcsrc on this server. Please fix it =)
I don't understand, This theme looks like a lame rip of oxygen without the gradients and the color animations. What's the author contribute? Or its just a lame rip of oxygen????
I got it, it's a rip/backport to kde3. Shame that no gradients and no anims make it less appealing.

like my friend, i never understood the reasoning of having the bottom panel take up half the screen, leaving the wallpaper visible in the left and right of the screen. the space is completely wasted, won't it be more useful if it took up the entire width like the normal kde/gnome/xp panel, instead of acting like fluxbox?
hmm thats an idea... ill try to figure out how it looks and simply add an svg/png file for the panel :)
at least make the wallpapers available ?

thats how i did "take my work down"... when KDE4 is released ill remove the password protection. well... 2 or 3 good friends of mine do have the password... and i allowed htem to use my work, i think thats ok.... :)

Oh no, it is much simpler than that - KDE 4 will have an entirely new and fresh look, and the thing is, the look is not solidified yet (as recent discussions and work on the look of the Oxygen style shows), because such interesting considerations as usability and accessibility are being taken... So it's simply an attempt at making sure that KDE 4 will /have/ a fresh, new look when it comes out ;) There's also the small problem of language barrier - the "public relations" person in the oxygen team suffers greatly from not quite grasping some of the intricacies of the English language, and as such has managed to spark controversy and arguments simply by making a comment where he essentially agrees with everybody, but still manages to get it said in a way so that he comes across as being in opposition to everybody else (witness discussions on the kde core devel mailing list in the month of August). Hope this has made the situation a little more clear :)

Dude, the idea is so great, but the icon theme doesn't works correctly, I install it and I have the KDE3 icon, except on folders. The dekorator...how the hell we can install it? Please, instructions :___
The deKorator files are....files for KDE deKorator! :) Install deKorator for your distro, then you can choose deKorator as your KDE style, and navigate in the deKorator settings to choose this K4 style. sudo apt-get install kwin-style-dekorator
