On the RSS reader would it be possible to make it so you can change the title?
For example, on my desktop I have a couple of RSS boxes. Instead of all of them saying "Feed Reader", it would be nice if I could edit each of them so that I can set them up like "News", "Financial", or "Business" so that while they are minimized, I know which is which.
I love the Screenlets!
No, doesn't compile.
But I was thinking on a fully integrated screenlets with e17, for instance the Sidebar one.
In e17, the windows doesn't respect the right_reserved property, for example, and I think that's because the way e17 handles stuff (which is different from other WM's).
e17 uses a module and shelf paradigma to show gadgets, and I guess they're different from others.
Hi Whise! I love this release!
However, I have a small problem with the Autostart folder on Xubuntu. It appears that the screenlets-manager looks for the Autostart folder on the Desktop if you are on Xfce, right? But Xubuntu's Autostart folder is located in ~/.config/autostart. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks!
what's the best way to use bzr to update. i use 'bzr pull' and 'bzr update' but it doesn't pull anything later than version 161. do i need to keep re-installing??
I did like this:
bzr co http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~screenlets-dev/screenlets/trunk
the
bzr update
and
sudo python setup.py install
if there's something new
It all takes some seconds every time there's an update.
I keep seeing updates of screenlets here on gnome-look, but I'm not getting any updates from the repository. Should I ditch the repo and just keep downloading from gnome-look?
I must say i really like some of the new screenlets.
I was wondering though would it be possible to add a system uptime display to the sysmonitor(vista like side bar)?
Sorry if I'm not being clear, that's gnome running in the screenshot, right? The gnome-panel skin looks nice, I was assuming it's a GTK theme, and was wondering what theme it was.

Stick with the repo or use bzr. I use bzr, that is the definitive place to be for real time updates :)

What GTK theme is being used in the screenshot? It looks really nice.
what makes you say that? there isnt a single thing on that screenshot that uses gtk
Oh, no? I meant the bar at the bottom, the one that looks Vista-ish - what is that, if not GTK?

in the screenshot you can only seee screenlets and the wallpaper , no gtk there (event if it is gnome )
Yes, there is gtk there, it's the panel. The panel is themed by gtk. So why can you not tell us what theme it is?
