Description: Smoothie is a shiny window border theme with round corners and colored buttons. Smoothie-white is a shiny window border theme with straight corners and white buttons.
Props to Max Rudberg for the original SmoothStripes.
Installation notes for Ubuntu users: This theme is not packaged for Ubuntu, but it's still easy to install. Extract the file to /home/[YOUR_USER_NAME]/.themes/ (note the period in .themes/), and you will be able to select it in the Appearance utility by choosing "Customize...", then the Window Border tab.
Sorry for a, maybe, stupid question. What I downloaded is a zip file. I went to System | Preferences | Appearance | Install ... in Gutsy and unable to see a zip file.

You will need to select "Customize..." in the Appearance utility, and select the proper Window Border.
This is just perfect I really like 1px border and the glossy effect on the title and the rounded corners are just perfect. This is my default theme now :) whould you mind if I'd recommend it to go along my gtk2theme? http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Murrine+Y?content=49094
PS-Why proprietary license?
thinks for the rounded theme, but if you really are trying to recreate OSX (which you are, obviously), you need to get the icon arranged crorrectly.
macs have red for close, yellow for minimized, and green for maximize/restore.
you just have the yellow and green switched.
ok, i switched the icons myself, but i'm noticing another annoyance. there are no borders on the windows (there shouldnt be when maximized) and without it, it makes resizing windows kinda tricky.
Thankfully I'm not trying to recreate OSX. I'm making a glossy and colorful titlebar that has very thin borders (1 px) and no borders at all when maximized.
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
Metacity2-themes should support this (and that's what we are using basically, there's just no documentation so making the theme's better would require some research..)

Beautiful..that round corner was the one which i wanted.. keep up the good work buddy
its a really cool mac-ish theme. can i ask for a rounded version?
Gnome has a, uh, coarse way of rounding edges. Does metacity support alpha transparency?
