Description:
SAYTIME SCRIPT by Mariux
(ITALIAN & CZECH VERSION INCLUDED!)
This simple script make your computer say the date and the time.
DEPENDENCIES:
festival
festvox-don
(for non-english versions, check your language readme fore dependencies)
INSTALLATION:
Just put the "saytime" file in your /bin directory.
Check execution privileges if uncheck (in "Properites->Permissions");
USAGE
Now the execution of the command "saytime" makes your computer to say date and time.
You can run it in terminal or create a desktop application launcher.
If someone wants to translate this script in his language, he can send it to me (with translated README) and i will provide adding to saytime pack!

It isn't a nautilus script
wont work over here...
i've a problem: when i type parlaora: Linux: can't open /dev/dsp why?? p.s. i'm italian:)
the command is pronunciaora, not parlaora... sorry but the error is the same...
spiegazione in italiano: lo script restituisce quell'errore (è un errore di festival) se la scheda audio è occupata (ad esempio se state ascoltando musica o vedendo un film). Explanation: this is a festival error. It occurs while your soundcard is occupied running other stuff (for example audio files or movies).
Install "alsa-oss" and "oss-compat" packages next reboot your system.
