Description: This is a nautilus extension for auto-deleting Mac(TM) filesystem metadata files, like __MACOSX dir and .DS_Store files. Beware, this extension is EVIL. because it do a dir walk and deltree.
Sorry, I don't have a Debian box right now.Last changelog:
1.0 deltree into __MACOSX remove .DS_Store files, only if you can see hidden files. (Ctrl+H)
Okay, cool.
But when I extract the archive, I get:
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

those always bugged me. so does this remove them automatically? or is a nautilus-script, or ??
Yes, this remove them automatically. (Except the .DS_Store file, as yet) After install, must restart nautilus.

Let me bluild a .deb package.
Sure, that would work :) Also, I want to use the thumbs.db killer, too, if you wouldn't mind. Thanks
For some reason, Ubuntu zip & unzip the .tar.gz files as .tar files. Maybe its a bug.
Yeah? I thought they did it right... Anyway, thanks for the packages :)
Later, but: It was a "gzip compression from server" issue.
