Description:
A GAIM splash screen made in GIMP, to match the OpusOS and Opus3 ported Metacity schemes. Made with the gradient tool and a few boxes.

I never see a person who like have antialiasing disabled. but it's your choice of course ;)
I don't like using anti-aliasing on my system. Always screwed up the fonts when I used Kolourpaint to make comics and stuff. XD

I think he has antialiasing disabled. Little to do with the font, more the font-rendering.
