nice screen now thanks for writing this macro !
Following your instructions made it easy to install though I am not a computer freak.
Please let me know if there is a way to enlarge the text a little bit - I would appreciate it because my eyes are not so good any more, they have 77 years on their back :-)
question:
do i need to update initramfs for it(grub2)?.
plymouth cause problems so i thought it would be great to get at least a nice grub2 theme like this one
thx in advance bluedxca93
Sorry for my bad English. I have a problem. I have Linux Mint Maya and Windows. This not detect LM icon. Appear GNU/Linux icon.
Too I edit the .txt for problems to boot, because appear "unknown property" for the "terminal", just put a # in terminal-left, right, width and the other.

Hi, thanks for reporting. Please try to rename linux mint's icon to either linuxmint.png or mint.png.
You may use these commands:
$ sudo cp /boot/grub/themes/Aurora-Penguinis-GRUB2/icons/linux-mint.png /boot/grub/themes/Aurora-Penguinis-GRUB2/icons/linuxmint.png
and
$ sudo cp /boot/grub/themes/Aurora-Penguinis-GRUB2/icons/linux-mint.png /boot/grub/themes/Aurora-Penguinis-GRUB2/icons/mint.png
Please report back, so I can fix this problem :)

Sorry for answer late. Yes, I rename "linux-mint.png" to "linuxmint". That's work! Thank you.
And I am using "Grub Customizer" for the grub images like this. It's more easy.
