Note Ubuntu uses LightDM, so you would need to switch to GDM first to use GDM themes:

how do u even install that
all this mac talk got me hungry
I'm thinking there needs to be another section titled 'Vista/Mac-Look.org'. I want to filter out all this kind of stuff.
Well, there's Mac/Vista-Look for Linux, then there's actually themes forVista and Mac... er.. Mac ;) but yes, good idea. I do not dislike this content, but feel it does need to be categorized in a way that will make it easier to find, or avoid, depending on your feelings about it.
Looks like someone is close-minded. ;-)
I agree.
You've done a good job to get the vista look and feel however... you should be putting your talent to good use and create a ubuntu or linux GDM that feels new!
I don't understand this need of some users to try to "fool" themselves. You're not using Windows or MacOS, so why pretend by adding their themes, icons, taskbars etc.? It's just dumb! As another user so elegantly put it: don't imitate, innovate!
omg... "DONT IMITATE, INNOVATE!"
Look...it is a Vista GDM #10000! Also, this is not the correct place to post this (I think this shouldn't be posted anywhere...) but if you really want to post this go to ubuntu-art.org, since this is GNOME-look.
I dont see how you can even use that because you've modded it without permissions.
yepp its another vista thing. I like the style of vista and thats the reason why...
Arg, yet another "I just don' wanna leave my good ol' Windows while using ubuntu, so I clone parts of it"... This shoudn't even be published. As I'll always say, why use Ubuntu if you try to make it look and behave like Win does ?
