I added a sound theme, to install it Debian sudo cp dialog-question.wav /usr/share/sounds/gnome/ go to System-Administration-Login Window click the Accessibility tab mark the checkbox "Enable Accesible Login" and "Login Succesful Screen" and look for the sound you just added
The path for ubuntu i believe is this usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo

i think the newest version you can't use gdm themes for now
thank you, well i don't use ubuntu but for what i read this new version (Karmic) use a new gdm to take advantage of the xsplash so untill now there's no options to change the default theme, but i think is just matter of time untill you can do that again

ok i have gnome shell on my ubuntu computer but how do i do it? how do i use the theme?

awesome GDM,very nice and put together but what is the trick to changing the GDM in Karmic? Im still fresh on linux
