How to install the theme:

You might want to backup your original XSplash theme, so type the following in the terminal (or ctrl+c - shift+ctrl+v in terminal)
sudo cp /usr/share/images/xsplash/ /usr/share/images/xsplash_backup/
than with root privileges extract this archive to /usr/share/images/xsplash/

mind that to install another theme you may just copy any .jpg picture to /usr/share/images/xsplash/ and rename it as bg.jpg! The same is with logo and throbbler (animation) files! simply change logo.png and trobber.png (simlinks will do the job for you=) )

there are also two additional throblers for you to chose! just rename throbber_2.png or throbber_3.png into throbber.png and see a slight difference=)

to see how your xsplash looks like run sudo xsplash
to make your choice without renaming files you may run
sudo xsplash -t /usr/share/images/xsplash/throbber_2.png
sudo xsplash -t /usr/share/images/xsplash/throbber_3.png
and see which do you like most (you'll have to rename it in the end thou=) )
