If you wanna put your own Background simply replace the file 'background.png' in the archive with the *.png of your choice.

more secure? For all the negative ratings for windows, nothing ever gets typed in 'clear text' on their login screen. Can we have modified version of this theme so that ... 1. only the icons and names of users allowed access to the system are displayed? 2. The only text input is for the password.

I like the concept a lot. the only thing is, theres is too much focus on the bg image and not enough focus on the widgets in front. I would make the "glass" with a little bit of blur to bring focus to the front, then add some subtle 1px lines for depth.

I just down load your Emerald yesterday and today I down load this GDM. Do you have any other works just like Usplash or Gtk or Icon in such kind ?
Unfortunatly not. The GDM and Emerald are my only uploads. I'll try to see if there's a way to do an Usplash, but personnaly I like simple ones like the original. For the icons unfortunatly I'm not skilled enough for, I'm actually using the Default Ubuntu Human theme, because the colors fits good. For the GTK I'll try to see what can be done. Thanks for appreciating my work :)
