- unpack icons to a directory;
- as superuser open this directory: /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin/status/48 ;
- replace standard icons with mine, or better replace the "/status/48" directory;
- restart pidgin.
Thanks xanderboy for replying.
I dont know what i am doing wrong?
I have replaced the full 48 directory from the location u specified and your icons are there inside it. But the icon doesnt change at the taskbar after starting pidgin. Its still the old one.
Do i have to increase some size? or select the icon from somewhere in pidgin menu?
Sorry for the trobule man.
They are really great but (there's always a but) the difference between away and online is only in the eyes, which is not that bad if the user sees it in a mac style dock like kiba or awn but if the user is seeing it in the system tray the difference is too damn small for noticing it in such a small icon (presumably 22x22 tops).
Otherwise - great work, I love the adium styles:)

Sorry, but these icons are designed for AWN, or something Mac os' dock-inspired.. :-(
