Apple logo in the corner is really too much, but the theme is great. So for everybody that doesn't like to have it , after you install the theme, simply go to ~/.themes/Dark Mode/gnome-shell/assets and replace distibutor.svg and distibutor-active.svg with your own SVG files, it can be anything, as log as the document size is set to 28x28px.
It's really a nice and neat theme without too many decorations after comparing
several translucent themes. But it still has some glitches, such as gno-menu dazzling search bar and italic fonts of openweather extension and so on.Since it has not been updated for years, I have to DIM and upload to https://www.file-upload.com/lg6tr52dscr1. Replace the original css file with this one. I'm sure you will get a better experience.
3Too much like man's poor mac, the logo ending up killing it for me. I also was expecting the top bar to be solid if some apps are on full screen, the transparency it's not a one pony trick
Anyone else who'd rather put a Tux, or a distro logo or something in the top left corner?
Anyone who knows where I can find some usable icons for Tux/Arch/...?
Hi guys !
I've install all you say and i've problems.
First, dark theme don't be apply on all windows, i want to say that when i use iceweasel or my terminal, border are white and not dark like in nautilus.
Second, how can i place minimize button at left corner and not right ?
I'm on Debian 8 with gnome-shell 3.14
Thx for help :)
White terminal window is Debian-based problem. Even ubuntu doesn't apply dark theme for its terminal.
If you always prefer dark theme, here is the solution: go to ~/.themes/White/gtk-3.0 ; then rename gtk.css to gtk-white.css; moreover, rename gtk-dark.css to gtk.css. By doing this, in-shaAllah the White theme would use dark colouring and should be called Black instead of White.
I forgot to mention it: in order to modify header bar's controller, you could run 'dconf-editor'; go to 'org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences'; edit the 'button-layout' column as you prefer.
Hi guy, thx for your answer.
I try your solution and it doesn't work.
Same for button, i change them in dconf and it's take it on screen.
is it work in any distro ?
Awesome theme, is there any way to change to font weight to bold in the panel? Tried editing the .css but I can't seem to find the setting to change. I can affect the standard font settings which will show in the appmenu of the panel, but what I wanted was for the calendar, weather app and places extension fonts to be bold.
I think theme should be installed in '/usr/share/themes' so that any other user including root could be able to apply it. Otherwise the system will change it back to Adwaita or Windows 95-like GUI.
I always install my themes and icons in /usr/share/... ;)
The fact here is that when I open Nautilus in user mode, global dark theme suits fine, but when I use it in root mode it falls back to light mode, gtk3 still applied. So I don't really know in fact if it does matter with the theme or maybe something else... I will investigate tomorrow on this and get feedback if I find something.
Why don´t you push your stuff to github. So other ppl can contribute and the installation process and update process gets very neat. Have a look to ninja install like here -> https://github.com/rhoconlinux/Blumix or here -> https://github.com/xenatt/Linux

Beautiful
9 Liked it a lot. Full package, not half baked item.
Although I would like to see more transparency in background.
When will we see a version that works in 3.20? I've had to go back to adwaita for the time being! :(
Using Gnome 3.10.4. So how do I add those sweet ass looking minimize, close and maximize buttons on the window?

Hi there, Although my favorite DE is Cinnamon, I have to admit that I like what I see.

Make sure to add 'font-weight: bold' to '#panel' section and '.panel-button'.
love ya :3
Well now I have an issue with Dark theme and root mode... When I open nautilus in root mode, the gtk3 dark theme doesn"t apply to the window?

run gnome-tweak-tool as root and set the theme settings from there.
I already tried this, but I can"t run Gnome-Tweak-Tool on root... Must fix this.
