it is possible to work this theme in linux mint 17 with cinnamon ?
nice theme. what wallpaper do you use in the screenshot?
In the GTK+ Theme I see the scrollbars of some common applications like Firefox, Opera or Aptana Studio 3 with a very different style like to the native gnome applications when you use this theme combined with other ones, is this a bug or is it strictly required to use both window and gtk theme together?
They aren't themable by the GTK theme as they aren't native GTK.
Great Theme! The only problem is that the Movie player and the image viewer theme is black http://postimg.org/image/jswwq2lo7/
Here is a screenshot http://postimg.org/image/jswwq2lo7/
It's a feature, not a bug. If you don't want the dark theme in media apps, just delete the file gtk-dark.css under gtk-3.0
Thank you very much for your help :) Keep it up my friend! I like your stuff :)
You do awsome things !
:D
May I suggest an improvement ? In the Desktop switcher of Xfce panel, active and inactive desktop have the same color. It will better if the active desktop was highlihted by a different color. Otherwise my favorite theme : pleasant, confortable and lisible.
EDIT : By desktop color I meant background color of active workspace
Hi, thankyou, beautiful theme. Can you tell me please which font and icons are shown in preview image? Thanks a lot,
The font is Comfortaa and the icons are xubuntu-icon-theme
Congrats and thanks on this great looking theme. But I really have to have those icons - I'm talking about the ones in the Nautilus left panel - those dark ones. They are not the xubuntu theme. Can you tell me their name, or maybe upload them somewhere?
They are symbolic icons. Nautilus 3.6 uses symbolic icons.
apparently, they are installed on my laptop as well. Where are they?
oops. i found them. I wonder why they don't appera somewhere where I can just select them. Do I have to replace them in the current theme folder in order to use them in nautilus 3.4?
I just installed this theme on xubuntu 13.10 and it looks nothing like the picture.. what did i do wrong? I installed trrough the ppa.. the file manager looks absolutely nothing like it.. its default with xubuntu (thunar) Is that the problem? What about others? I have strange window-boarders also looking exactly like greybird?
I'm on GTK3.10 which supports client side decorations. Thunar is still GTK2, hence it has doesn't have client side decorations. I hope Xfce gets ported to GTK3 soon and you get to enjoy this :D BTW the WM theme is actually very similar to Greybird.
This theme is fantastic, you are great!!! ;) I'd have just a question: is there a way to have the black panel (like ambiance) on Unity with this theme? Many thanks in advance :)
You can do it with GTK theme preferences - http://www.webupd8.org/2012/09/customize-gtk3-gtk2-theme-colors-using.html
I found you, has updated its ubuntu 12.10 ppa, GTK the theme works correctly, but the theme of windows does not work, the theme keeps coming ambiance rather than evolve, but evolve is selected, get the windows theme ambiance . You can correct this error and I go right in ubuntu 12.10 theme.
I guess you installed it in ~/.themes Please install with the .deb or place it in /usr/share/themes for the window theme to work. This is a bug in Ubuntu 12.10.
I have the same problem, I cannot set the windows theme and I placed it in the following folder /usr/share/themes.
