Do you how to tweak Unity panel bgcolor as well, for example to make the shade of grey there lighter or darker?
I considered making the xfwm4 buttons grey but I liked the red on the close button so I didn't bother with the others.
This theme is more of a mod than a full theme, the full theme is at http://shimmerproject.org/project/greybird/ and I only kept what I needed for my xfce desktops, that's why there's no unity or metacity mod; maybe in the future.
If you want to modify the unity top panel colours I assume modifying gtk-3.0/apps/unity.css would be the way.

Excellent theme. Helped me make a small derivation with blue selections. Any plans for making window decorations for Metacity, etc.?
