Description: This is a modified version of Ubuntu's default Ambiance and Radiance themes, made to more closely resemble the interface from Ubuntu Touch.
To install these themes on your system, extract the tarball and copy the Ambiance and Radiance folders to ~/.themes/. Then use a tool like Unity Tweak Tool (http://apt.ubuntu.com/p/unity-tweak-tool)to select one of them as your theme. (I think this overrides the default themes as long as they're installed. You may have to log out and in again to see changes.)Last changelog:
Fantastic theme, great job!
One issue I'm having with GTK3(?) programs is that the right click menu and menu bar have a white background instead of the correct dark grey but have the correct hover colour. On GTK2 programs, the menu bars are the correct colour but the drop down menus have a white background and the wrong hover colour.
Is there an update in the works or can you point me at the appropriate section of the css file?
Thanks and great work!
Hello, it seems very good theme for Ubuntu 14.04. I only see that the unselected tab in Firefox still have the Ambiance theme color standard, it would be possible to give a color to further integrate with your theme.
A greeting
Yes, there's still an issue with the background color for unselected Firefox tabs / GTK+3 toolbars where it's too dark. I want to make these areas medium gray eventually so they look more like Ubuntu Touch apps. This will take some time, however.
Could the author please post installation instructions for the current Ubuntu release, as well as the most recent LTS release? On my computer running 13.04, Ubuntu Tweak fails to install the .tar.gz file that the theme is packaged in.
This theme is branched from light-themes trunk, so it will only work on Ubuntu 13.04 and newer (as well as any system which uses the same version of GTK+3).
This theme is meant to be similar to a mockup someone else made, as well as retain some features from the old Ambiance. I likely won't make a version with squared borders, though it shouldn't be too difficult for someone else to make (the metacity-theme-1.xml file is the place to look for anybody interested).

I made a theme to match chromium with this theme so it doesn't look like ambiance http://ubuntuone.com/5EyOWFC2ri5GggXLy0PHi9 Cheers, Santiago Navatta
Now that Ubuntu One is discontinued (sadly), this is likely a dead link now. Do you have it hosted anywhere else, like in the Chrome Store?

EDIT: I see it's been added!

nice theme! I wish you had a variant with squared borders.
