Description:
A port of ninjaboi's Mirev3 Litestep theme, to Pekwm. There is also a GTK theme to compliment.

Credits:

- Ninjaboi, for the inspiration, his lovely theme and the permission to port this to Linux;
- thrynk/lyrae for porting the original Mirev2 gtk and pekwm themes to Linux, from which this release was based on;
- naalo and asuraci, the developers of the original Mire style.

The font used in the theme is standard 07_57 caps.

The wallpaper used in the shot is "All The Things You Said", which can be found by browsing Visionsofart's gallery.

Hope you like it! Enjoy!

how the heck do i install this ;) im totally new with this

skinwalker

extract the archive and then go thro the subfolders. you will find a folder called mirev3 with a subfolder gtk2. simply move this mirev3 folder to /home/your username/.themes it shud appear in the appearance dialog after that and u can change ur theme! i also assume u have murrine engine installed. else the theme won't work! the pekwm theme is only in case u use that window manager! gud luck!

nickmilesmiller

terrible sorry, does the team show up even if you DO not have murrine? i run hardy ubuntu 8.0.4 and it's not showing up.. i give up ;) it looks sooo fantastic though.. really my style

skinwalker

it won't work without the murrine engine mate! since ur on hardy, here's how u setup murrine. open a terminal and type sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine murrine engine will then be installed. after that open the appearance dialog again and choose mire v3 theme. u shud have no problems whatsoever! gud luck

nickmilesmiller

it's says it's already installed.. but how do i load the engine? do i need to load it or what precisly? thanks for your help already =)

skinwalker

are u sure u moved the proper subfolder into ur .theme directory? coz if murrine is already installed, this theme shud work. and i guess u also have the pixmap engine installed. it shud be default as well neway! u don't have to load any engine per se, only installation is enuff! i am uploading only the gtk theme for u. so remove the mire v3 folder from ur .theme directory first, and download this file and drag on to the Appearances/Theme dialog! http://www.mediafire.com/?smgpxset3ck
