Description: I like the Die Hard Emerald theme but couldn't find a matching GTK theme, so I modified the Clearlooks-blackblue GTK theme. I just thought I'd share it ...
the emerald theme: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=66714&forumpage=2
This is my first theme, so there are probably some glitches leftLast changelog:
first off go to Applications and then click on Add/Remove Applications and in the search box and type in screenlets and hit enter. it should show up once it does make sure that the box next to the application is checked and click apply in the lower left corner. you will be prompted with a box that will say "Apply the following changes?" click apply once it is done close out of the Add/Remove Application and go the applications tab>accessories>screenlets
this does not work on xfce, requires more than just gtkrc.
have a look at http://www.xfce-look.org/content/show.php?content=99669
works right out of the box. (XFCE THEME)
If you're using Ubuntu or another system with a GNOME desktop, you should already have GTK2 support built in. Download the .tar.gz file, but don't expand it. Drag the file over your preferences / themes window. You will be asked if you want to install. Just hit yet. You'll be all set to go. Oh, make sure you have ClearLooksDark installed or this won't look quit the way you expect it to.
Hey! awesome theme!! GTK themes were hard for me to make >.<... so I just dropped it, I'm glad you found interest in making a matching GTK theme... I'm gonna use it right now :D
^_^ kudos to you :D
