Description:
I was after a dark theme that was useable, didn't look like windows and didn't look like mac.

Hopefully, I've achieved my goal. See what you think.
Last changelog:

The more I played with this theme, the more bugs I found, especially in Fx.

It was killing me so I completely changed the code base from Neutronium to Softwhite.

It's cut the size from 56kb to 26kb and removed a lot of the invisible font on background faults.

It's cost a bit on the looks font but hopefully it's worth it for speed and useability.

---------------------------------------

I much preferred the old version and set about finding the problems with the fonts and backgrounds. Well, I think I've ironed them all out (famous last words).

If you go to yell.com or staples.co.uk for example, with a dark theme, often you cannot see the text when you click in login/search boxes.

I love this theme but if it doesn't work properly then it's pointless using it.

If you find any sites where this theme does not work, please let me know.

Thanks

I've just uploaded a fix for the file rename problem, which also fixes the second issue you have just found. Thanks a lot for your help.

I dont use any program. I just right click a file (e.g on desktop) and choosing rename. Im not sure is nautilus the program that handles these things. Im new linux user so give me mercy :)

SpikeyB

At first I wasn't sure what you meant. Now I understand the problem. I believe you are using Nautilus to view files. In icon view, (such as on the desktop) when renaming, the text is white on a white background. I need to think about the best way to fix it. It's not easy to fix without moving the problem somewhere else. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Looks very cool but when i try to rename a file the background is white and text also. When highlighted the text is visible. Is this a bug or what?

SpikeyB

Erm..... I don't know what to say. That was a problem on my machine in an earlier version but it is fixed on my machine now. Let me think about it.

SpikeyB

OK, I think you're talking about icon view in Nautilus. Yes, I need to sort that out. Thank you.

SpikeyB

What program are you using to rename files?

Hey guy, Absolutely beautiful. I love it. I use emerald along with this and rarely use the gtk theme for the title bars. Perfect grey on this. It is difficult to get a nice dark theme just right and I think you are one of the few who has succeeded ! Congratulations! :) coz

Thank you very much for your comments. I'm glad you like it.
