The archive contains the GTK, the Emerald, the Metacity, the Xfwm and the Openbox themes.
Let me now what do you think of it!

Please read the README file for instructions on installation, issues and credits!
Please report any bug! Thank you!
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
- 04/02/09: Fixed a problem in prelight text color inside combo box: it was black for some reason, now it's white (much better).
- 23/03/09: Fixed another little bug in background prelight: text was white being unreadable, now it has a cool dark background, matching the theme.
I've darkened the grey color from #808080 to #757575: now selected text is more visible and readable. Of course i've also changed all the gtk images to match the new color!
-24/03/09: Thanks to drakfire now my suite also has an Xfwm theme, for pure Xfce fans! Go try it!
- 29/03/09: The Elegant for Rent suite is today completed by an openbox (by rent0n) and a metacity (by drakfire) theme. Enjoy!
- 25/05/09: Removed icons from menus and buttons and added a fix for the CPU frequency applet in the gtk theme. Added a nice space between menu and submenu in the openbox theme.
- 07/07/09: Fixed scrollbar width, now they are smaller!
- 16/06/09: Minor changes including cleaner active tabs and simpler resize handle.
- 24/06/09: Added a small border on gtk menu items to remove the "white on white effect".

It would bee nice if this theme also could work on gtk3.. Is it possible that you will/could modify it, to also support gtk3? Anyway, thank for this nice theme!
I love the wallpaper :D where can I get that?

Hi, good theme. One question I have. Gtk2 engine that I need to look good in the intrepid theme? and where the download Thanks.
For Intrepid, just: sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf and you're done! ;)
I keep seeing updates, but I dunno what's getting changed. Trying to decide if I have a need to try the new version.
Oh well...i was trying to fix some little bugs about arrows and prelight, and i've uploaded a newer version but i still can't get to the right result. Moreover sometimes i've just edited some links or the license or the screenshot and then it comes out again like it has been updated..I'm sorry! ;)
I LOVE YOUR THEME, but to continue to use it I must solve a problem... OpenOffice apps can't seem to take the white text color on the dark menubar, so the menubar entries are practically invisible. I noticed other Elegant themes do this kind of thing too, but Elegant Mine doesn't. Can I ask you to try to debug your theme maybe comparing it to Elegant Mine and solve this issue? Everybody uses OpenOffice, so it's kind of fundamental. I tried to solve it myself, but all I managed to do was (by changing "inactivetext2") apply Elegant Mine's colors, resulting in correct menubar white text on dark bg, but screwing up the opened menu itself, leaving it white on white. I'm sure someone with a bit of experience like you will be able to fix it! Thank you and keep up the good work!
The integration of OpenOffice with GTK themes is often difficult and i'm not so expert to find the right solution to fix my theme just comparing it to other themes... BUT, since i love and often use different themes, including dark ones, that don't work with openoffice, i've just folowed this simple howto/workaround that actually solves the problem for every single theme you'll ever use in your life --> http://www.rebelzero.com/fixes/openofficeorg-dark-theme-workaround-with-ubuntu-804/8 Hope you'll find this useful! Let me know! ;)
For me this is the best and most useable of all the elegant themes, including elegant brit itself. I like elegant brit but after a while i always get annoyed by the high contrast (black / white) and switch to something softer. This theme is still elegant but with soft grey colors which are very easy on the eyes. The icon-theme i like best with it is allgrey. Great job!!!!
Thanks for your comment! This was exactly what i was trying to do: a simple, usable and grey-based Elegant theme. So, i have to try these allgrey icons!
...and a metacity theme would complete it (just with recolouring other elegant theme).
Thanks! Anyways i'm not going to make a metacity theme just because i'm not able to do it and i don't use metacity (i love xfce!). I'm sorry! ;)
Thank you guys! I was not expecting such positive comments!
I like this theme very much. It' s elegant and simple at the same time, easy on the eyes. Which Icon Theme are You using here? Thanx for sharing Your theme!
Thanks =) The icon theme is SimplyGrey, you can find it here ---> http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/SimplyGrey?content=93674 It's so cool!
I have to say, I would never use this, BUT, it looks very well put together and it's quite nice. I voted it up. It's good, just doesn't match my taste. I think it my be my favorite theme of that style though, and I'll be sure to recommend it to those who could appreciate it better.
Great variation on the Elegant series. Unobtrusive to say the least. Rated gud mate. But why the double posts?
