Description:
I have updated the elementary-mod that modify nautilus:

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Elementary-mod?content=119715

for the last version of elementary.

Also, I modify the bar based in this mockup:

http://danrabbit.deviantart.com/art/elementary-Nautilus-154893044

So, here is, also the elementary-nautilus.rc have little changes for the text mode, and that is all.

READ THIS:

YOU NEED THE "ELEMENTARY-NAUTILUS"

only follow this steps:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

pkill nautilus

OR IF YOU WANT COVERFLOW:

http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/search?updated-max=2010-03-26T13:19:00Z&max-results=15

TAKE THIS CONSIDERATION: If the textbox look badly, you can change the size of our applications fonts, also you can try to change the font or change the configurations of nautilus-elementary.rc would work.

I use the Mac fonts in my desktop and with this font the theme works fine.

I don't know how to solve this problem, if you know please notifyme.

I hope you enjoy this and if you want, help to improve.

It would be possible to put to download the windows as you used in the screenshot? I know it's ehomosapien, but in your screenshot is different (minimize, maximize and close).

algalord

of course I will share this, this is an modification for ehomosapien that I did trying to avoid accidental windows closes, but I haven't uploaded it. I will upload this theme soon.

Samuel2006

thanks for the reply.

There is a problem with the archive, it won't open, there is some message about it not being in gzip format.

Hey, would you mind if I used your mod in a gtk theme I'm posting? I've modded it to fit the theme, but its obvious you did the work.

algalord

use it and put me in the credits, and put a link to this thread :D

algalord

thanks :)

Hadret

What Nautilus version is that? Where can I get it from? (:

algalord

This is elementary nautilus. If you want the coverflow (clutter), you must compile: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/search?updated-max=2010-03-26T13:19:00Z&max-results=15 If you don't want coverflow, you can use it from repositories: http://horusint.wordpress.com/2010/01/19/nautilus-just-got-gorgeous/

Hadret

Thank you! (:

mudrain911

how would you go about installing this? i think i may have missed a readme file or something...

algalord

This is a GTK theme, so, you install it as any GTK theme, only extract and copy to: /usr/share/themes/ or $HOME/.themes You must install the elementary nautilus.
