Description: ** About ** Ambiance-bordered was created to provide better usability over the original Ambiance for users without desktop effects enabled. Changes include:
* There is now a dark border around the window contents for easier visibility of the window edge in the absence of a compositing engine's shadows. A side-benefit of this change is that it is now much easier to resize the window borders by dragging the edges.
* Pop-up menu boundaries are now slightly darker, improving their visibility.
** Installation ** Copy the folder "Ambiance-bordered" into your ~/.themes folder, or into /usr/share/themes to install for all users (including "sudo" applications).Last changelog:
I don't know that I'd be able to do that. I just made simple tweaks to the existing Ambient theme; I don't know how to do vast modifications such as changing toolbar colors, etc.

In old computers without graphic effects this theme is fantastic! :D
I like the idea of a modern looking theme for GTK2 that is specifically developed leaving Desktop Effects aside. Something refreshing, IMHO. Cheers
I've been searching for a theme like Ambiance, but with New Wave-like borders and with a dark toolbar (dark like the menubar, I mean).
