Description:
daX's KDE3 .kcsrc colour schemes converted to Fluxbox .style - also provided a Python converters inside (they may look kind of messy, since the process is about to convert to Irix .basecolorpalette before, because i still didn't code a script would do it directly)

The original colour schemes you can find at http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=72811&vote=good&tan=98625133

Please remember i'm not the author of these colour schemes (since they are GPL btw) - i only coded the converter and converted them to Fluxbox .style - all credits are for daX! :-)

Honestly, anyone who gives me a plethora of color schemes (that don't look bad) deserves some sort of thanks or something... This rating system on the *-look websites disturb me so... But the random people who rate down without even downloading it disturb me more. Anyway... Thanks for the color schemes. :) I installed Fluxbox just to try 'em out.

I just uploaded my first ever theme, and I'm bracing myself for the kind of spammy bad ratings you mentioned. I guess you shouldn't set too much store by the ratings; after all, there is no real way to know until you try, is there?

I voted good, I also vote good whenever I see that happen. I don't post here (kde-look mostly) anymore, and removed most of my stuff, I got tired of the 'I couldn't care less' attitude the admins show.

The rating system is misleading here. When my schemes were only 4, rating was 84%, when they were 75, 81% and after the final update 79%. Now rating is 84% again, so go figure, 4 schemes, 220, it doesn't really make a difference here.

thank you too! i think each window manager (maybe not wm2 or mwm, due on their limitations) really deserves a good amount of colour schemes, or themes made from colour schemes - this is mostly why i coded these converters, and posted them and their result here, and also let dax918, the original author of these colour schemes, know about this! :)

I haven't had the chance to try them yet so I got to ask this to someone else: Why do they have such a poor rating here? They don't display correctly? It's a pity. They look good on the screenshots, any other extra setting is necessary? Wrong category? I'm sure the author will appreciate some feedback.

thank you - i also can't understand the under-rate, even considering these themes from colour schemes are just a mere conversion, for helping the Fluxbox community of users and developers.

I just updated the description to link to this page too. Thanks again! :)

Fluxbox

Fluxbox is a stacking window manager for the X Window System, which started as a fork of Blackbox 0.61.1 in 2001, with the same aim to be lightweight. Its user interface has only a taskbar, a pop-up menu accessible by right-clicking on the desktop, and minimal support for graphical icons. Wikipedia
