Sorry, no success with the file in my Fedora 11...and I don't know why...the format is gzip compressed data, but I got error even when opening with file-roller...
I can't install it in Fedora 11:

Actually after reviewing your terminal output a little further it looks like you don't have a .themes directory and obconf was unable to make one. Maybe try making it manually?

Yes, I have a ~/.themes directory and it is re-writable. Manually I can't open the file, it is corrupted...

Weird. I just downloaded it and installed it on Crunchbang. Is your directory /home/german/.themes/ writable ?
