This movie is really for the action flick. It is much like the Sonny Chiba movies back in the 70's (those that got the X rating for violence alone e.g. StreetFighter)
It was evident that Quentin Terantino was going for that affect again in this movie. He is really trying to resurrect the genre.

I loved it because it was a great mixture of all my favorite kung fu movies. Sonny Chiba, Shaw Scope, Wire-Fu. I believe finally an American Director has successfully crossed the Kung Fu genre over to American Soil. BOUT TIME!
However, I understand where you are coming from, it is not a movie for the faint of heart. You really have to love Martial Art films to enjoy this one.
True, I just thought they took something that could have been really cool (like the anime scene) and killed it with unrealistic amounts of gore. A guy with both legs chopped off probably wouldn't be able to roll around on the floor. Nothing wrong with the wallpaper though.
Haha it was like someone stuck a hose in a dummy's neck full of blood and set him running off. Wait thats probably what they did. And you wonder why America's children are unshockable ; )
Well, I for one wouldnt consider Kill Bill to be a movie for children. Sure, I'm not american but I would hope most american parents agree with me there...
Well apart from that sick 17 year old Japaneese girl, yea, but shes.... Way too cool ! Anyway theres a wallpaper for everyone it seems and you cant blame him for having some oppinions on stuff..

True, that was the one thing that I didn't like about the movie was the crazy spraying of the blood. But I was sold on the action.
