This wallpaper is not that bad at all. At first I thought, "Eh, too gray..." but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. Especially once I saved it, loaded it up, and changed the hue slightly in the KDE background properties to give it a slightly bluish hue.

I love the brushed metal look and would love to do something with it myself in my graphical work. How exactly did you do yours (which app)?
make a new document add noise .. then use motion blur !! thats it :)
