it seems you have 1GB of RAM installed on your system. But I see your kernel just reaches to about 850 MB (I see it on your system monitor). Enabling high memory support will solve this.
yes, first of all you should compile your own kernel. in processor type and features there's an option High memory support, you should fix it to 4GB as maximum.
