This has been rated bad for many reasons. Most GNU Linux users hate propiety. Apple are greedy when it comes down to iPods because they are trying to "lock" out everything from using its own media format and also Apple do not support Linux at all. The best thing would be to design something like a MP3 Player but don't specify it (give it a name and make it look too much like the one its based on).
