I had to take a look because of the name and sadly found a perplexing statement. "War is over...use green!" What does war have anything to reducing the size of a commoners carbon footprint? Furthermore, how would you "use" green? I would imagine that "going green" would be more or less a way of life or rather even becoming a part of our subculture. I understand that the ironic theme to "going green" is a pinnacle of a cultures symbolic interaction, but isn't this a bit much? Sadly, the theme of "green" has lost all meaning, and is just a marketing scheme...yep...its used to make rich people even richer, and poor people even poorer. its just as bad as "oh wow you have an iPod, you are COOL".
This is just an IMAGE man, not a statement. I said "War is over... use green" because green is a color traditionally referred to military corps around the world, and I think is a beautiful color, but you are free of read between the lines in any way you want (even in a wrong way as you already did)
So green is referred to the military in this piece. ok....
So the statement you are saying is that the war is over, so use the military more??? I am reading between the lines but this comment just doesn't make sence.
If the wallpaper didn't have the text in it, it would have been much better. When you make a political statement, be ready for it to be attacked; and be ready to defend it.

If you want me to do it I offer you to publish the same wallpaper without text. I DON'T WANT TO ARGUE TO ANYONE. I just offered an image to use as a wallpaper, because I've downloaded a LOT of things from here and wanted to offer something in return.
I know it won't have 9000000 downloads, but I hope people like it but if it doesn't...
