When I tried Ubuntu Lucid, I had high expectations for the new appearance. The wallpaper was a huge disappointment. The quality was terrible and it was far from the smooth gradient it was meant to be.

I used gimp to fix it and I succeeded. I also added branding using the new ubuntu font and I added some more effects.

The screenshot quality isn't as good as the download.
