After I downloaded the image, the top left was doing some odd things so I took a look at it and that area was transparent. I just dropped a sky blue fill behind the entire image and the following resulted.

It looked cool, did justice to brants' original work so I'm simply turning it back to the community. All credit for the work goes to brant -- a monkey could have added the fill
