Description: i drew this a while ago. i guess i got the idea from playing the aaaaaaaahh! a reckless disregard for gravity demo on moddb. i tried something new this time. i scanned the picture to my computer, but this time i traced it in gimp, which i've never tried before.
i used an xcf to work on it. comment if u want it.
Well, the windows could get better. I would make them more parallel. Also, I would make the picture entirely in gimp. No tracing. It will turn out better that way. If you want I can tell you how I paint in Gimp, but real quick I use lots and lots of layers (base, color, background, shadow, light,s ect.), and the flatten them at the end to fine tune it. Try looking at you original picture and fixing the perspective. You might even want to arrange blocks to see how it should look. That good for a mouse though! You might be able to get a cheap tablet for $50 like it did. Still, the mouse will end up doing the fine work because the tablet will jump around a little. Keep working at it :) (you should have seen my fist attempt at painting in gimp xD I won't even post it it's so bad.)
Sort of. Start from scratch, making the picture look similar to your first one. I would start by using the ink tool on one layer, and using the eraser often, make it just the way you want, and then color it. If your b&w drawing is a little messy, put it into inkscape and use the tracer: [SHIFT][ALT][B] Then you can simplify the traced image [Ctrl][L] (you can repeat this as many times as you like) and export it. And please don't listen to certain comments. Someone should teach them some manners ;)
You really have good ideas, but you just have to work at them more. I have been trying to do this for years (in windows) , and only recently I could make something half decent.

i dont have a graphic tablet and i know the windows suck, but i think it's still pretty good.

And try custom making the clouds layer. It looks a little out place.
yeah, i just made clouds with gimp cloud filter. k, i will redo it. along with my icon theme lots of work to do!
y is it being rated bad? if u rate bad please comment why.
i think its good...
Because is bad ? ... because doesn't look good ?
Still, if you're six years old and it's your first attempt, then I take that back and I would say go ahead, you might improve...but otherwise...don't.
