I think it's original, and it can be fabulous with a little more work.
Povray, blender, maya or what? To be GPL you have to release the source xD

No actually I used a windows program a long time ago to create it. Bryce 5 I have the source somewhere at home on that system. I can post source if you want it and im sure it can be imported into other software. :)
Updated the licence and took off the addional licence. You can now modify this image to your likeing. :) have fun.
also someone put a comment abou it i enjoy feedback on my work and hopefully i can get some more out there.
