I have modified the color a little and made a second version that isi ausable with KDM.

I like this. It's quite nice. I have a small request/sugestion:
Can you slap one together where the Gentoo bar thing is at the top (or bottom - whichever, doesn't matter) since the default KDM logon window obscures most of the bar. I could probably do it if I knew how to use Gimp better, but since you have the raw file...
If not, no biggie. I just thought I'd give a thumb's up to you and make that suggestion.

what about blue? or blue / grey theme? It will much better with crystal icons ;-)
