Great to see that Gimp is not at all that bad... About the wall: I love what you did with the sky! but perhaps the 'mountain' would come nicer with a fluent lining. It's to pixelated. Keep up the fine work though!

I do not think that is pixelation. I am pretty sure that it is a rough terrain look.
actually it is pixelated but i fixed this and made it look like a rough terrain look
I like the background. The hills are sorta high for me, but still this is nice, especially the fog effect.
