I wanted a Gentoo background with a bit more than just the standard old purple 'G' so I went for the abstract 70's look. Made with GIMP.

I think this wallpaper is damn amazing. Even though you probably can't, it would be nice if there were a theme/GDM that goes along with this.
This is too busy, and totally non-relaxing. The text makes it even worse.
Please try to keep the comments to constructive criticism and not just opinions. Calling my work "ugly" has no benefit at all.
yeah this is pretty retro and rad, without the gentoo powered and nyc emerged or wahtever i forget it said, kind of like an adlib area, i'd use it

Um, the wallpaper is different to the preview. The preview looks good.
got that fixed... thanks for the heads up. I had 2 wallpapers named almost exactly the same thing.
