A few decades ago in Mexico, the haciendas were very big and important (very big ranchs).
President Lazaro Cardenas, declared that owning very big parts of land was ilegal.. and splitted Haciendas and give the land to the people that used to work in the hacienda and created the "Ejidos" (a very populist political decision).
Today, only the great constructions of the Haciendas remain.. this is a picture from Hacienda la galera in Queretaro state.
In this beautiful place you can rent the "casco de hacienda" (the hacienda's main building) and this big green place to do a party... And as you only have other farms as neighbors you can stay as long as you want or do as much noise as you want.. nobody boders

Unfortunatly no.. I only have others from this hacienda but not for public wallpapers (my beautiful wife is there... and that's my favorite personal wallpaper :) ) Don't worry.. I'll be posting more pictures soon.. Maybe not from this hacienda but from more places.. (michoacan Mexico,valencia Spain, and so on).. If I have the chance to go to this place again I will take more pictures for you guys..
